Worcester Restaurant Group (Re)-Introduces the $5 Martini Cocktail.
WORCESTER, Mass., December 4, 2007 – Worcester Restaurant Group, the owners and operators of The Sole Proprietor, One Eleven Chop House, and VIA, today announced the "return of the $5 martini cocktail".
Normally priced at $8.95 at its three restaurants, both the popular Cosmopolitan (or "Cosmo") and the traditional martini are being offered using premium-brand ABSOLUT LEVEL VODKA at an everyday five dollar price-point not seen since the late 70s when The Sole Proprietor first opened.
"The martini cocktail is definitely back in vogue today", according to Worcester Restaurant Group principal, Robb Ahlquist, "with price points hitting and exceeding $10 in our restaurants and $15 or higher in cities like Boston due to the rapid rise in costs. Working with our supplier , we've been able to 'turn the clock back' with martini pricing to a level our customers both will love and can afford".
Worcester Restaurant Group operates The Sole Proprietor, an award-winning seafood restaurant; One Eleven Chop House, the area's most popular steak house, and VIA, which offers Italian comfort food.
LEVEL (http://www.levelvodka.com) is the ABSOLUT SPIRITS super-premium vodka in the United States. The name level communicates the vodka’s point of difference – the perfect balance of smoothness and character. This positioning also extends to the bottle, which is frosted, tall and slim with perfectly balanced proportions. It has a heavy base, and its front features a small silhouette of the ABSOLUT bottle.
Produced in Ahus, Sweden, ABSOLUT LEVEL VOKDA combines two distillation methods: continuous distillation, which distills the vodka hundreds of times to ensure unparalleled smoothness, and batch distillation, where the vodka is produced batch-by-batch in pot stills under the attentive eye of expert distillers.
