Welcome to the Worcester Restaurant Group.

Since founding their first restaurant more than 25 years ago, the goal of founders Robb and Madeleine Ahlquist has been to create restaurants in Worcester that are of the caliber you might expect in Boston or other major cities.

They have succeeded – three times:

• One Eleven Chop House which opened in 1999, is an award-winning New York-style steak house with a classic look, spectacular wine list and top-quality steaks, all certified prime or in the top 10% of choice quality cuts.
• The Sole Proprietor has been the area’s most popular seafood restaurant for more than 25 years. It’s been named the area’s best seafood restaurant by Worcester Magazine every year since 1991 and was named to the country’s “Top Ten Seafood Houses”.
• VIA brings Italian comfort food, made from authentic Italian recipes and ingredients, to Worcester. The Ahlquists traveled several times throughout Italy and brought back the best of what they found.
